We make building processes easy for admins doers

If you've ever used Salesforce, an ERP like Netsuite, or even a simple tool like Expensify, you know these systems rarely reflect the current ideal workflow to get work done faster. This is because you need a well-trained administrator to make changes to these systems. As the pace of business change increases, it becomes impossible for admins to keep up. Teams that use these systems pay the price: they have to maintain manual spreadsheets, tolerate long email exchanges, and copy-paste data to duct-tape one outdated process to another.

Baton is a no-code platform designed to make building business processes more transparent, automation-ready, adaptable, and efficient. Our mission to enable a new class of doers to build, optimize, and maintain business processes that takes the drudgery out of work for individuals, teams, and even the entire company ecosystem (business partners, vendors, service providers, etc.).

Why Baton?

Huge opportunity. The explosion of SaaS software along with new knowledge work opportunities has created a need for better work orchestration and business process management, a $50B+ market.

Challenging problems for you to solve. We want to make building and operating an automated business process as simple as using a spreadsheet. We want to make a business process programming language for non-programmers.

The right team. We are a team of 5 product and engineering veterans (10+ years experience each) from Google, Yahoo with previous startup experience (Sprongo, Zampus). We take pride in building products that have impacted billions of users (Google Shopping, Yahoo Mail).

The resources and network to succeed. We’ve raised $2.5M in seed funding by top tier VCs (Bloomberg Beta is our lead investor) and angel investors such as David Fischer (CRO, Facebook), Sameer Samat (VP Android), and John Lilly (former Greylock partner).
